Functional Movement Screening 

Before starting any type of program I take you through a series of movement screens to:

·         Properly assess range of motion in the joints and muscles

·         Address weaknesses/strengths in movement patterns

·         Have a starting baseline to mark progress

This way the program is specific to your body’s’ needs. At this moment you decide if you would like to continue on your own with the program designed for you or see me regularly to quickly and safely improve your health.

Mobility/Posture Correction 

The next phase following the screening, I correct your posture and any imbalances within so you don’t strengthen a faulty structure and create future problems.

·         Move freely without pain/stiffness.

·         Align your biomechanical structure.

·         Poor flexibility can cause stiffness, muscle and nerve pain, discomfort and injury.

·         Is the result of most of the pain in your body, you do not have to live with pain.

·         Improve the quality of your life in your daily activities throughout the day.

·         I combine cold/warm therapy, with stretching and release therapy for the best results.

·         Progress to greater and better exercises safely, easily and pain free.

The mobility and stability phases overlap and work synergistically to help lengthen the tight restricted muscles and strengthen/stabilize the weak muscles.

Stability 

Alongside the mobility phase we stabilize the weak muscles, naturally balancing movement patterns and posture.

·         Strengthen the joints and muscles.

·         Build and align the foundation of your structure.

·         Lift light to moderate weights depending completely on the person’s body and goals.

·         Light strength phase with the focus on muscle gain depending on your goals.

·          Stability in the lower body, gluteus, core, and back is the focus and is a pre-requisite to the advanced programs of strength and power.

 Strength 

Your joints are flexible and the foundation of your body is now stabilized

·         Strengthen the foundation as a preparation for the power program.

·         Full body workouts.

·         Increase metabolism.

·         Lose healthy weight dramatically

·         Balance all the muscles of the body with compound exercises.

·         Strong joints and a healthy body.

·         Your body is now stronger and you feel good being able to work harder and increase your results.

Power 

Your body is now flexible, stabilized and strong. You are now feeling better, feeling slimmer and fit by completing the first three stages.

·         Safe and body specific combinations of explosive exercises and heavy lifting.

·         This stage is for everyone wanting to be strong and healthy.

·         Specifically increasing your speed and power for athletes or heavy lifters.

·          Beneficial for athletes or employees that lift heavy.

For the average person not concerned with speed or power we will cycle through any stage that needs improvement continuing to build muscle or loss weight depending on your goal.
